Midnight on the beachStarin at the endless blanket of darkness above,Hands locked togetha wit the one I love, As i lay my head on your chest and listen to the steady beat of your heart, I think about the unfortunate time 2 come when well have to part. I then reminisce about the first time my eyes took sight of you, At midnight on this same beach, damn, couldnt believe the view. Your face was lit up by the moonlight from the sky, And the reflection of the full moon could be seen through your eyes. When you approached me, thats where this love began, Love on the whole was no where in my lifes plan. I never thought i could find love, but you, you turned that around, In you i put all of my trust, in you is where my heart is found. As i slowly open my eyes, your standin ova my wit and outstretched hand, I take hold of you, you pull me up then brush off the sand. Here wrapped in your arms, the safest place, you kiss my neck in the sweetest way. Baby i love you so much is all i hear you say. Its soon time for you 2 leave and itll be a lifetime before i see you once more, I feel like im loosin a part of me, the part i so adore. Its midnight and were on the beach, exactly a year ago i met love, And i thank God for sendin me this precious gift from above. I pray you remember these times, the good ones and those filled with sorrow, Think of me in your dreams until you can hold me tomorrow.
